Also, because it is vacuum sealed at the manufacturer it has never been touched, demoed or allowed to gather dust in a warehouse.Foam ConstructionThe 5" base foam is a layer of high density Polyurethane providing support for the mattress. This base foam comprises 60-75% of the total thickness - without this base foam you will ?sink? too far into the mattress, making it difficult to move about or stand up.The 3" Memory Foam is the heart of the mattress. It is the material that conforms to your body, relieving pressure points and allowing you to sink into the mattress.
